If you see Superuser permission dialogue when you open the app,it means your device has root access. If your device is not rooted, WiFi password Viewer will notify that your device not rooted or not given superuser permission. WiFi Password Viewer app also works as an indicator that device is rooted or not.
This app may not work on some Samsung phones due to certain technical issues. There is a way to view passwords but it requires editing buildprop file. Don't mess with system files if you do not know what you are doing. (To solve this password problem fund your system directory in file manager and look for a file called build.prop, and simply change this line ro.securestorage.support=true to false in /system/build.prop.).
